Cross Country Starts Season with Successful Showing at PR Kick-Off Relays
The 2010 cross country season for Centreville High School was off to a fast start at the PR Kick–Off Relays held at Burke Lake Park on Thursday, September 2nd. Typically athletes run a 2-mile relay successively, but due to the hot weather all athletes in a particular group ran together, providing a better assessment of where each team will be relative to other teams. In the freshman races, Centreville had top ten finishers in both the boys’ and girls’ races. Nick Dziminowicz came in ninth with a time of 12:12 and Fernando Muzo came in tenth with a time of 12:26.
