JV Wildcats Beat Herndon, 3-0

The JV Wildcats out-hustled the Herndon team, showing their continuous improvement on offense through the season. The first Centreville goal was scored by Mackenzie Johnson, who persevered in a crowd near the goal for the point. The second goal showcased Hayley Carlson's stick skills, as she dribbled up the field past the Herndon defenders, shot and scored! The third goal was a team effort: Johnson crossed the ball to Carlson, who passed to Jessie Dagata for the finish. On defense, goalkeeper Brittanie Peterson logged one save, and Mary Kate Goff and Christa Guh played strong games. Nicole Clark and Emily Berkley played well in midfield.
