Boys 4th, Girls 12th at Monroe Parker Invitational

The boys varsity cross country team finished 4th out of 26 teams at the annual Monroe Parker Invitational that kickoffs each season. Senior Yazid Zouaimia crossed the 2.98 mile course in 15:13, securing a second place overall finish. Other scorers for the Wildcats were senior Mattson Heiner (9th), junior Bobby Kelly (10th), senior Bennett Salmon (60th), and senior Michael Lapuz (86th). Senior Tom Marotta and junior Emanuil Stoichev rounded out the varsity top seven

The girls team finished 12th out of 22 teams with junior Juli Cuomo leading the way with a 10th place, 18:53 finish. Junior Rachel Brown (61st), sophomore Hayley Anderson (96th), junior Katie Hickey (122nd), and senior Sarah Salette (133rd) all scored for the Wildcats. Juniors Sarah Hollenbeck and Astrid Unson completed the top weven.
